Q. Are there any Krav Maga books that you would recommend as a supplement to the training in this course?
PABLO (7/16/2018 4:47 AM)
A. Hello there, I have gone ahead and linked our KMW books: Krav Maga for Beginners: A Step-by-Step Guide to the World's Easiest-to-Learn, Most-Effective Fitness and Fighting Program Complete Krav Maga: The Ultimate Guide to Over 250 Self-Defense and Combative Techniques Black Belt Krav Maga: Elite Techniques of the World's Most Powerful Combat System Krav Maga for Women: Your Ultimate Program for Self Defense Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Q. Do I also learn my grading of belt here or at an academy?
Tamai Rosi  (7/1/2018 10:09 PM)
A. We would not be testing you on every belt, you will not be receiving a belt certification as if you were training live with an instructor and other students.
Q. Iam very excited to learn krav maga. I believe that it produces what it all stands for. For me to go through all the grading of belt ,how long will it take me to complete all my grading?
Tamai Rosi  (7/1/2018 10:04 PM)
A. Everyone takes a different amount of time to get through the system, just like it takes a different amount of time to run a mile. It is also not just about getting through the system but having a complete deep understanding of the principles and techniques of the system while being able to apply them under pressure. It is also important to note that while you will be learning the techniques and getting better, you will not be receiving a belt certification as if you were training live with an instructor and other students.

BMal2017 (2/8/2017 5:09 PM)
A. The online academy is one of the ways to accomplish that.
Q. Hello, Can you please tell me how to indicate that I've completed a video lesson? I've watched the first one 2x, but still indicating "unwatched" in the progress tab. Very informative video. Looking forward to learning here! Thank you so much!
Trish (11/13/2015 11:18 AM)
A. The progress tracker is a manual tool to allow you to track your lessons and take notes. It won't automatically update but is there for you to record your use as you feel most beneficial to help you progress through the training.

Q. This sounds great. I was shown this page to learn self defense to know what to do if what happened on the train in France happens else where in different areas in public, because I want to be able to protect myself and my mom and I'm disabled as well and I use a hard wood cane, what type of self defense moves will I learn and how to mix the use of my cane mixed with these techniques?
Delta27 (8/29/2015 9:26 PM)
A. Hi Delta, I think that's great you're taking the steps necessary to be prepared and protect you and your loved ones. The great thing about Krav Maga Worldwide is that we get the opportunity to work with people from all over the world at our different affiliates that have different disabilities. We have one in France! Check the locations tab at the top for contact info. You will learn how to use you personal weapons (hands, knees, elbows, feet) first, and then later in the system, learn to use improvised weapons (such as your cane) as an extension of your strikes. That, along with 3rd party protection comes much later in the system because certain fundamental elements need to be solid and drilled into your muscle memory.
